juicybluesky asked: I’m looking to purchase a new laptop within the next year and I want the BEST one. I’ve had my current laptop for almost 4 years and I think it’s about to go out. It’s an Dell INSPIRON 600m laptop…..bottom of the line laptop. I want my next laptop to be a good buy but also tech savy and not be prone to viruses. Is it true that Apple computers get less viruses than Dell computers?

Warlock of Id asked:
I need to have 10 Desktop and 10 Laptop computers all networked together and all hooked up to 1 server. Also (3) 24″ monitors need to be hooked up to each desktop computer. I would like to know what I need for this project and what it would cost to get it done. It is for a small business just starting out.

Jeph J asked: I have a few questions regarding laptop computers on airlines. First, do they have a power source available (can you plug it in or must you rely solely on your battery)? Second, is there some sort of Internet access available in flight? I haven’t ridden a plane since before the computer age!

hh asked: my laptop (toshiba, satellite 1405) is getting old and the real time clock battery is no longer rechargeable. so everytime I turn on the computer, the system clock is always changed back to 1999. I was wondering if I can change the battery myself, or do I have to take it to a computer store (and how much would that cost)? I heard that the RTC battery is a small button-like battery and is really cheap, but I didn’t see it when I opened the back of the laptop. Any idea? thanks a lot for your help.

werbodalini asked: We are currently with Sprint, but they suck so bad, I’m ready to drop them, and just pay the stupid fee for cancelling early. Are there any other cell phone companies you can hook up your laptop to while on the road to access full internet? If so, who are they, and how much do they charge for internet capabilities? (Not from the phone, but from a laptop). Thanks.
