I would take the battery out and put it back in. Then see if it does anything else. Does it show up in Windows as charged or charging?
It’s likely a bad battery. Or a bad charging circuit. But you won’t know if it’s either one until you get another battery and see what it does.

Sounds like a dead battery or a connection issue > Bring your laptop & battery to your local Batteries Plus ( ), they should be able to diagnose what is going on.

Sounds like you may need a new battery, Take the battery out of your laptop put it back in and make sure it has a snug fit. Let the laptop charge overnight without using it.
