  I would have to say Sony laptops and computers are the best. Sony vaios are especially good, since my dad has one, there are lots of other different types of sony laptops aswell, you can see some of them on this website: . I think that sony are one of the most reliable brands that you can get.
  I noticed you didn’t include dell in there though. Some people say that dell computers aren’t very good, but I have a dell laptop (which is this one .. it’s called the dell inspiron.) And i have had it for over a year now, and it has never let me down, i would recommend it because it’s a really good laptop, and has lots of ram and memory.

  well if you dont know much about building your own computer go with HP but if you think you can do it go with dell

  There is no Gateway? That’s what I have and I LOVE it. If I had to chose between those, HP.

  My Toshiba is doing fine had it for about a year now, the lcd display is good and its cheap and reliable

  The best choice would be a HP laptop when compared with the other
  ones.

  This is more like personal choice, everyone has his/her own pick. I like Sony, Toshiba in the order of the listing.

  You’ll have to first decide what you plan to use the laptop for. Is it for work, gaming, etc.

  I’ve heard that HP are a good brand. I have a SONY and so far it’s been great, although I would love to trade it in for a DELL. I think DELL offers a greant bang for the buck and the friends I have who own them say they’re reliable and offer great customization features.

  Toshiba well over priced (lack of good inside parts) well built.
  sony very well made also screens are excellent (expensive)
  asus very well built (also inexpensive)
  acer a bit cheap made but good inside parts (also inexpensive)
  HP & Dell (Best)

  From personal experiance I would recommend agaisnt Dell or HP. My HP laptop did the thing we all joke about, break the day after the waaenty ran out *which was just after christmas) and all 3 of my freinds with Dells have come to me asking about problems. 1 of them has had his screen fall off and another has no keyboard!

  Anyway, I would say Sony are the best, they can be expensive but they are well worth the extra money if you want to use it alot. If you have got the money (and dont mind the compatability issues) Id go for a Apple Mac, although I understand they can be inpractical and expensive, they are extremmly good.

  They are all MADE IN CHINA .. in the same facility but re badged … i went to china and toured the computer assembly plants

  HPs are durable and less expensive.

  I prefer HP. Price was great, Build Quality is best, The top of the line machine and it is very fast and responsive.
